According to modern science, there are no natural laws preventing successful rejuvenation. In 1965 Leonard Hayflick discovered that cells had a finite lifespan, based on the number of doublings the cells underwent. This is called the Hayflick Limit. Human cells undergo 50 doublings before cellular Senescence occurs, mice 20+- doublings, monkeys 30+- doublings. The life span is based on the number of doublings. Hayflicks limit begins at conception and shortens with each cell doubling.

Aging is an accumulation of damage to macromolecules, cells, tissues and organs. If any of that damage can be repaired, the result is rejuvenation.
